The Holter Monitor Test is a continuous heart rhythm monitoring test that records the electrical activity of the heart for 24 to 48 hours (or longer, if required). It helps in detecting irregular heartbeats that may not appear during a routine ECG.
What is a Holter Monitor?
A small, portable device is attached to the patient’s chest using electrodes. The device continuously records heart activity while the patient carries on with normal daily activities.
